DORSAL

VENTRAL
| Caterpillar Hostplants | Various species of goatweed (Croton spp.) are listed as hosts within its normal range, but none of our local species have been listed. However, I have reared this species on Three Seed Croton (Croton lindheimerianus), one of the more common species in our area. |

| Seasonal Flight Data | Rare stray to north Texas. |
| General Notes | Some authors refer to this species as Anaea troglodyta. Does not overwinter in our area. Hindwing is more "scalloped" in the Tropical Leafwing than in the Goatweed Leafwing. |
