Caterpillar HostplantsYellow Passionvine (Passiflora lutea), Blue Passionvine or Maypops (Passiflora incarnata), Grooved Flax (Linum sulcatum), Meadow Flax (Linum pratense), Rock Flax (Linum rupestre), Berlandier's Flax (Linum berlandieri), Texas Flax (Linum medium), Tufted Flax (Linum imbricatum), and probably others of this genus; Erect Spiderling (Boerhavia erecta), various members of the Violaceae family, including violets and pansies.

Seasonal Flight DataFebruary - November. Chrysalis or adult in our area, depending on how severe the winter weather is in a given year. Can not tolerate extended periods of cold weather.
