| Caterpillar Hostplants | Cassia spectabilis, Winter Cassia (Senna bicapsularis), neither of which are found in North Texas. Possibly uses other Cassia species. Texas Ebony (Pithecellobium flexicaule), a tree found in south Texas. |

| Seasonal Flight Data | As a stray, if seen at all, it would most likely show up in late summer or fall. | 
| General Notes | A rare stray to North Texas, Dale Clark collected one specimen in the early 1970's in northeast Dallas. This large species is difficult to confuse with any other of our local sulphurs. |
