Caterpillar Hostplants | Hairy Tube Tongue (Siphonoglossa pilosella). Bailowitz and Brock report Spreading Snake Herb (Dyschoriste decumbens) being used in Arizona, so it is possible that our local Snake Herb (D. linearis) could also be utilized. |

Seasonal Flight Data | Occasional stray to our area, although with consistent sightings the past several years this status may change. |
General Notes | Unlikely that it can overwinter in north Texas. This species was formerly classified as Vesta Crescent (Phyciodes vesta). |
