Caterpillar HostplantsHollyhock (Althaea rosea), Wright's False Mallow (Malvastrum aurantiacum), Velvet Leaf Butterprint (Abutilon theophrasti), Three-Lobe False Mallow (Malvastrum coromandelianum) and probably other species in each of the above genus.
Area Sighting
Locations
Low-growth habitat, rocky and disturbed areas, fields and grassy areas where it's host plants are often found. Lake Lewisville.

General NotesA stray in our area, most probably in early summer - fall.
