Caterpillar Hostplants | Small Flower Milk-Vetch (Astragalus nuttallianus), Panicled Tick-Clover (Desmodium paniculatum), Round-Head Bush-Clover (Lespedeza capitata), Hairy Bush-Clover (Lespedeza hirta), Alfalfa (Medicago sativa), Snout-Bean (Rhynchosia texana), Red Clover (Trifolium pratense) and White Clover (Trifolium repens). Leadplant (Amorpha spp), Peavine (Lathyrus spp.), Deer-Vetch (Lotus spp.) are also listed as hosts, but not species in our area. Observing our local plant species in these genre might add new host plant records. |
